1950's Capelet, hat and muff (One size) PDF sewing pattern [VSV 51001]

A nice set: Capelet, collar and a round muff. (1951)

This pattern has been carefully digitized from one of the vintage sewing magazines in my collection. They were published in the 1930's-1950's and came with multi pattern sheets from which the pattern pieces have been traced. The lines, text and other markings are hand drawn digitally, carefully following the original. 

• Size:  One size.
• Seam allowance NOT included; please add the amount of allowance you personally prefer.
• BRIEF instructions (see note below). 
• Fabric requirements: Amount not given. Fabric suggestion: Faux fur.
• You will receive 3 PDF files:1) A 4-page PDF file with pattern info, fitting both A4 and Letter sized printers.2) A 13-page PDF file with the pattern pieces on tiled pages fitting both A4 and Letter sized printers. Make sure you print att 100% (original size) - do not let your printer rescale it (i.e. "fit to page"-option)! Assemble the printed pages with the help of the "Print layout" page, using the triangular markings on the pages to line them up correctly.3) A 1-page PDF-file with the pattern pieces on a full size A0 sheet.

NOTE REGARDING INSTRUCTIONS: Instructions to these patterns are often non-existing, and if there are any, they're very brief, mainly telling you in which order to put the pieces together. Therefore this is NOT a pattern suitable for a beginner; you will need sewing skills and knowledge about how to put a garment together.

DISCLAIMER: I will not be held responsible for any issues arising due to printing out the pattern pieces at wrong scale, or other reasons. Also, I strongly recommend you make a muslin before cutting into that gorgeous fabric you plan for the finished garment!

UPDATED MAY 2023!

This pattern was originally published in 2019, one of the first patterns to see light on this pattern-making adventure of mine. Since then, I've learned and evolved. Thus, I'm (slowly) going through and making updates to most if not all of the oldest patterns. If you have purchased this pattern before and find you cannot access the new files (3 PDFs instead of only one), please contact me and we'll sort it out.🙂

Biggest changes made:

• The instructions have been improved.
• The old "grid system" I used as the guide for lining up A4/Letter papers in the very beginning has been swapped for the cleaner look with triangular markings I use now.
• The overall look is updated to match my newer patterns (I like it streamlined😉 ).
